Sharmila Ravindran
Principal
Sharmila Ravindran graduated from the University of London and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2004. She founded Messrs Ravindran in 2011, which became Ravindran and Azmi Chambers in 2020.
She has acted for local and international clients in corporate & commercial litigation, construction & engineering, insolvency, shareholder disputes, enforcement proceedings and land matters.
She represents a wide range of individuals and corporations including local and multinational companies, telecommunication companies, engineering & construction companies, shipping companies, joint management bodies & management corporations and property developers.
Sharmila was a columnist for the Smart Investor Magazine and has authored for LexisNexis Practical Guidance Malaysia and CIDB Malaysia.

Louise Azmi – Partner
Louise Azmi was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2004, and in private practice as a Barrister in England for 11 years. She is one of very few British people admitted as Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya since the introduction of the Bahasa Malaysia Legal Qualifying Exam in 1984.
Louise’s primary focus is in the area of construction, including oil and gas, and commercial and corporate law. Louise is a qualified arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator. Louise also offers advisory services and undertakes counsel work in these proceedings. Louise was cited in the Legal 500 UK as “having achieved some frankly astonishing results”.
Louise is co-author of Practice and Procedure of Mediation published by Thompson Reuters in March 2020.
